Safety
Safety guidelines.
A few habits that keep every table good. Read these before your first dinner.
In an emergency, always call 911 first.
Before you go
- Tell someone. Share your dinner plans — neighborhood, venue once revealed, and when you expect to be home — with someone you trust.
- Get there and back safely. Arrange your own transportation, especially if you're drinking. Never ride with someone you just met if anything feels off.
- Your pace, your call. You can leave any dinner at any time. No explanation owed — to the table or to us.
- Watch your glass and your things. Standard night-out awareness applies at any public venue.
- Trust the flag. If someone pitches you, pressures you, or makes you uncomfortable, flag it in the app. Flags are read by a human and carry real consequences.
- Emergencies are for 911, not the app. If you're in danger, call emergency services first.
Dinners happen at independent restaurants; pay the venue directly for what you order, and confirm allergens with the venue.
