Why a wristband

Nobody wants to wear a name tag to dinner.

Name tags belong at conferences. At dinner they make a table of new friends feel like a networking event.

Without anything, though, arriving is awkward. The host says your table is in the back. There are two tables of six back there, and you're left asking strangers, "Are you from Tribecca?"

The wristband fixes both. You can see it from the door, you know where to sit, and you know you belong before anyone says a word.

How it works

Look for the bands.

Before dinner
You see who's at your table, with names and photos, when RSVPs close, and the restaurant the day before.
At the door
Look around for wristbands. A table wearing them is yours.
At the table
Spot a band and you know you're in the right place. Just say hello.
Next time
The band is yours to keep. Bring it whenever you'd like to be spotted.
